I don't mind it so much seeing natives do it. It does seem unnecessary and humiliating in this day and age. Not all cultural history is something to be proud of, but what's worse is seeing dorky drunk white guys do it at an attempt to look cool. It's gay as f--- and it's always the same type of guys doing it. The mentally unstable that get punched in the face a lot at bars

haka war cry is awesome. gives me chills down my spine. it is wonderful that some aspect of their honorable past has survived into the future where it is a cherished cry/display of honor and tradition today. absolutly love the haka war cry!

Most people around the world would not know what a "Haka War Cry" is, or where it comes from. It is New Zealand Maori and you should have stated that in your question.



As an individual I may dislike the Haka, but I can also understand the dance/war cry used in "challanges" during sporting events.
